A Fully Equipped Ambulatory Surgical Facility for
Gastrointestinal Procedures

As the practice has grown over the years, local demand for gastrointestinal procedures had resulted in longer boarding times.

Recognizing the need for a higher-quality, more cost-effective alternative for their patients, the physicians at Center for Digestive Health developed Surgical Centers of Michigan, LLC (SCM). The mission of SCM was to develop and operate a fully-equipped ambulatory endoscopy facility to better serve our patients and the community.

SCM has state-of-the-art equipment in a modern, tastefully decorated 3,615-square-foot suite. It has all the amenities one would expect from an outpatient hospital, with personal one-on-one care for patients and family members. A convenient location, and ample parking close to the UnaSource Health Building, shortens visit times and enhances the patient's overall experience.

Special attention is given to make the patients' experience a pleasant one, starting with our professional and friendly staff. The reception area is comfortable and tranquil, and the pre-op rooms are spacious and include televisions to help make patients at ease while waiting for their procedures.

The Surgical Centers of Michigan is Medicare-certified, accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), and licensed by the State of Michigan.
