Regular office hours are 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. Office visits are by appointment only. We strongly believe in the value of your time and will do our best to keep scheduled appointments running smoothly. However, emergencies do occur and may cause a delay.
back to top ^Both offices share the number (248)844-9710. Please listen to all prompts and our phone system will direct you to the area of your choice. Our physicians utilize designated nursing staff to return patient calls with their recommendations. If you have a question for your physician, listen through all the prompts and you will automatically be directed to the nursing staff. Non-urgent calls will be returned within 48 hours. Prescription refill requests will be processed within 72 hours. The telephone system is shut down at 4:30 to facilitate return calls to patients.
back to top ^Our practice is committed to providing you with the best possible treatment and we charge what is customary in our area. Full payment is expected at the time of service by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover, unless arrangements are made with the Billing Department prior to your visit.
back to top ^Several of our physicians will begin treating patients at age 16. The parent, guardian, or other adult accompanying a minor is responsible for payment. Payment arrangements for non-emergent care for unaccompanied minors must be prearranged with our Billing Department. An unaccompanied minor child must provide a permission note authorizing service and a telephone number where a parent/guardian may be reached.
back to top ^If you receive Remicade, it is your responsibility to provide the office with current active insurance information. You will be responsible for any out-of-pocket expenses. Payment will be expected at the time of service unless special arrangements have been made with our Billing Department.
back to top ^Depending on your procedure or test results, your physician may recommend the transfer of your records and/or biopsy slides to a specialty facility or physician for a second opinion or further treatment. This will be arranged by one of our nurses after your notification.
back to top ^If you have insurance coverage, please understand that this is a contract between you and your insurance company. As a courtesy to you, we will help you receive your benefits by submitting medical claims for reimbursement provided that we receive all the necessary information. PLEASE NOTE THAT SOME SCREENING PROCEDURES MAY NOT BE COVERED. CHECK WITH YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY BECAUSE YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENT IN FULL.
We participate with Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, and selected PPO and HMO companies which may require a deductible or co-payment to be met. It is your responsibility to make sure that we are a contracted provider with your insurance company. You are responsible for providing all necessary referral and authorization information at the time of service. It is your responsibility to know your individual coverage and to supply us with the correct information. If you need to have any laboratory work, radiology, or other testing, it is your responsibility to inform our office if the testing needs to be done at a specific location of if pre-authorization is required.
